Week four is complete! This has probably been my favorite week so far. I really enjoyed diving a little deeper into the world of photography and photo editing. Like I said in one of my assignments this week, I haven’t been able to be as creative as I’d like to be due to school and work so this class is really helping me unleash all that pent up creativity!
This week I also tried the scheduling feature in WordPress to schedule each of my assignments to go out at the same time, once every day this week. My game plan for doing assignments for this class is to get them all done the weekend they’re assigned, so instead of just dumping them all up on my blog at once I thought it would be nice to space them out.
Speaking of assignments here are the four I completed for this week:
I had so much fun creating these assignments. They definitely consist of work that I’m proud of and I learned so much while completing them. My favorites are the Step off the Canvas piece and the Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens… collage.
I also completed a 20 minute Photoblitzer which was a lot of fun. It allowed me to think on my feet and work with certain limitations. While the photos I took aren’t masterpieces, I learned a lot while completing the challenge!
I also did quite a bit of reflecting on my photography journey and the elements that make a photo good. I learned a lot reading the article we were assigned for this week and I was able to apply some of those new skills to the assignments I completed.
And of course, as always, the Daily Creates:
And comments on everyone’s amazing work this week:
